In Celebration of W Osaka’s 2nd Anniversary, two Restaurants Ranked in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Collaborate for a One Time Only Event.
Chef Yusuke Takada of La Cîme, who has served as co-menu supervisor of New Brasserie Oh.lala... since the opening of W Osaka, will welcome Chef Hiroyasu Kawate of Florilège located in Jingumae, Tokyo, as the guest chef for a unique one-day lunch and dinner event.

CHEF YUSUKE TAKADA, LA CÎME
Born in 1977 in Amami Oshima. After working at French and Italian restaurants in Osaka City, Takada moved to France at the age of 30. After studying at Grand Maison in Paris, he returned to Japan. In 2022, La Cime was ranked 6th in the "Asia's 50 Best Restaurants" and 41st in the "World's 50 Best Restaurants" for the first time.
Becoming the only restaurant in Osaka to be ranked, and was awarded a Michelin star in 2012 and two stars in 2016, maintaining their star for seven consecutive years since then. http://www.la-cime.com/
CHEF HIROYASU KAWATE, FLORILÈGE
Born in Tokyo in 1978. Kawate was brought up in an environment where cooking was so close to him that he could not think of anything else but becoming a chef since he was a child.
In 1997 he joined "Q.E.D. CLUB", and after training at "Ohara e.C.I.E." in Nishiazabu from 2000, Kawate moved to "Le Bourguignon" in Nishiazabu in 2002, where he studied under Chef Mi Masu Kikuchi. In 2004, he became sous chef at Le Bourguignon in Nishi-Azabu, and in 2006, he went to France to train at Jardin des Sens in Montpellier. After returning to Japan, Kawate worked as sous chef at Cantissance in Shirokanedai from 2007, and became independent in June 2009, opening Florilege in Minami Aoyama. Then in 2018, Florilege ranked 3rd in Asia. In the same year, they were also awarded 2 Michelin stars, and their sister restaurant "logy" in Taiwan was awarded 2 stars in 2020. Achieving 30th in the "World's 50 Best Restaurants", and 3rd in "Asia's 50 Best Restaurants" in 2022.
